Hafizur Rahman Scholarship
Mr. Hafizur Rahman, a key founding member of OIST, played a pivotal role in establishing the institute, extending substantial support throughout the process. Additionally, he served as the founding chairman for three primary schools and contributed significantly as a founding member, Chairman, Member, and donor member of a high school. Unfortunately, he passed away on June 8, 2020. In commemoration of his remarkable contributions, this scholarship has been established. This scholarship, awarded based on both need and merit, provides the recipient with a full tuition waiver and an additional Tk. 3,000 every semester for educational materials.

Prof Dr M Alimullah Miyan Scholarship
Prof. Dr. M Alimullah Miyan, a distinguished educationist and the founder of the first non-government university in Bangladesh, IUBAT, was a mentor to the founder of OIST. Dr. Miyan's innovative Knowledge Based Area Development (KBAD) program, implemented at IUBAT, had a profound positive impact on the life of the OIST founder. In recognition of Dr. Miyan's legacy, the OIST founder has established this scholarship. The scholarship is a full-free grant presented to one deserving and accomplished student every semester. Additionally, the recipient receives Tk. 3,000 each semester for educational materials..

Prof Alex Berland Scholarship
Prof. Alex Berland, with extensive experience in teaching hospitals and universities in both Canada and Bangladesh, has made significant contributions to various global organizations, including the WHO, World Bank, OECD, Canadian health authorities, government departments, and NGOs. His involvement extends to volunteering, fundraising, and personal donations for numerous organizations worldwide. In the first hand, he provided huge support to establishment of Oasis for Posterity (OfP). Prof. Alex played a crucial role in fundraising and making substantial personal contributions to OfP for the establishment of OIST. His steadfast commitment to OIST is evident through continuous financial support and advisory assistance for the institute's operations. In acknowledgment of Prof. Alex's unwavering dedication, a full-free scholarship, along with Tk. 3,000, is granted to a deserving and accomplished student every semester.

Prof Dr John Richards Scholarship
Prof. Dr. John Richards is a distinguished academician, researcher, volunteer, and philanthropist. Professor Emeritus of Simon Fraser University, he has contributed to Mid Main Community Health Centre and served as an editor and reviewer for several research journals. Prof. Richards has generously donated to and volunteered for numerous organizations. Notably, he played a crucial role in fundraising and making substantial donations to OfP for the establishment of OIST. His ongoing support includes both financial contributions and advisory assistance for the institute's operations. In recognition of Prof. Richards' continuous dedication to OIST, a full-free scholarship, along with Tk. 3,000, is awarded to a deserving and accomplished student every semester.

Natalia Karpowska Scholarship.
Natalia Karpowska (1920-2004) was born in Warsaw, Poland. Her family was Jewish and because of their religion, most of her relatives were killed during the Second World War. Just a teenager, Natalia escaped to Russia where she suffered greatly as a prisoner-of-war. Later, with great courage and effort, she made a new life for herself as an editor and historian. This scholarship is to remember a woman who lived intelligently and honourably all her life, showing compassion and fighting for justice on behalf of vulnerable people from all backgrounds and faiths. The scholarship is awarded based on need and merit. Full free studenship plus Tk. 3,000 to a student every semester

Merit Scholarship
50% tuition with free admission scholarships are awarded to admission candidates with GPA 5.00 in SSC and equivalent examinations. The awardee must maintain class attendance above 90% and GPA 3.5 in semester final examinations.
Gender Parity Scholarship
All female students qualified for admission are awarded with 25% tuition scholarship, if the applicant does not qualify merit scholarship.
Female student with GPA 5.00 in SSC and equivalent examinations are awarded 100% tuition scholarship. The awardee will not be entitled to stipends and must maintain class attendance above 90% and GPA 3.50 in semester final examinations.
